(JoNova) Australian polls have plummeted, and the credibility gap I mentioned earlier has already translated into votes. Whether people agree or disagree with the Emissions Trading Scheme, no one is impressed when a leader hypes something in the most hyperbolic and inflammatory terms, then bails suddenly, as if it was not a big deal. read more
While Abbott is the opposition you can take the following statements to the Rothschild's E3 carbon (tax on breathing) bank. After the next selection that Rudd by design will "win", he and his fabian socialist party masters will make up for lost time dear, Joanne Nova! Plan B. Stay tuned for former Goldman Sachs bankster buffoon Malcolm Turdbull (sicop) making a return appearance from the dead as the good climate cop, in the bad bloody unreality matrix program being played on all Australians with two or less brain cells to rub together!
(SMH) Research into climate change and farming practice lags behind what farmers already know, and must be stepped up, a parliamentary committee has found. The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Primary Industries and Resources released its report, Farming the Future, late on Monday. Among its recommendations were investment in research into soil carbon sequestration, and the development of a strategy to collect and disseminate methods farmers are using to make their properties more resilient. read more
Ow that evil nasty dirty soil. The climate fear mongers are wanting to impose extra costs on our farmers. That will make your shopping bill go up to cover new costs. So what if that guy Phil Jones at the center of the "hide the decline" climategate matter has admitted no warming since "1995" or Al Gore and his Club of Rome mates in 1991 writting; "In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill."
(SMH) Former environment minister Peter Garrett's demotion has unfairly impacted on the defence portfolio, the Australia Defence Association (ADA) says. [..] Prime Minister Kevin Rudd handed responsibility for a new insulation scheme to Greg Combet, who is already the minister for defence personnel, materiel and science. [..] ADA executive director Neil James on Monday said ministerial attention rightly paid to defence had been cut in the interests of political expediency and the short-term electoral cycle."It appears that climate change matters are taking up about 80 per cent of (Mr Combet's) time," he said in a statement. read more
(Prison Planet) Leaked policy documents reveal that the United Nations plans to create a “green world order” by 2012 which will be enforced by a structure of global governance and funded by a gargantuan $45 trillion transfer of wealth from richer countries, as the globalists’ insidious plan to centralize power, crush sovereignty while devastating the economy is exposed once again. read more
(Daily Mail) The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information. Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers. Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’. [...] And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming. read more
(SMH) The Victorian government has ordered a review of controversial smart meters after the state auditor-general warned electricity consumers would be worse off. The Essential Services Commission will conduct the review "to ensure vulnerable Victorians are not disadvantaged", it was announced on Wednesday. Smart meters will be rolled out to 2.4 million homes and small businesses over the next four years. They communicate directly with power suppliers, enabling them to set peak and off-peak rates. read more

(JoNova) Christopher Monckton’s tour here has been so successful that extra dates have been booked for Perth (now Monday night and Tuesday night this week) and also a huge final show in Sydney on Friday with none-other than Alan Jones as MC. (For people not in Australia, Alan Jones is one of the most popular talk-back radio celebrities here). All up, Monckton will has spoken to around 6000 people live, and countless thousands through a packed schedule of radio interviews around the country.
In Noosa, his talk was so popular that 350 people were left in the car-park unfortunately. When he found out, Monckton came outside to apologize personally, and gave them a 15 minute synopsis right there in the car-park.
UPDATE: Sydney is now a Debate with Tim Lambert learn more
(AdelaideNow) ALL Australian homes will have to undergo a mandatory energy-efficiency assessment - costing up to $1500 per property - before they can be sold or rented under new laws to tackle carbon emissions. The mandatory assessment - being drafted into law by the federal and state governments - will rate homes by an energy efficiency star system, similar to the ratings given to fridges and washing machines. It will apply to all commercial properties from later this year and to all residential properties from May 2011, Adelaide Now reports. [...] The Council of Australian Government's National Strategy on Energy Efficiency says Mandatory Disclosure will "help households and businesses prepare for the introduction of the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme" read more
(SMH) Federal Agriculture Minister Tony Burke has questioned what the coalition has to hide over the Howard government's involvement in state vegetation laws. The Senate on Thursday allowed an inquiry to go ahead into laws that stop farmers from clearing their land due to environmental restrictions. The push for an inquiry was brought about through the 52-day hunger strike of NSW grazier Peter Spencer over property rights and Tuesday's farmers rally in Canberra. read more
The Liberals signed the kyoto protocol locking up large swaths of private Australian land without "just terms" (s51 xxxi) compensation to the effected land owners. Where are ALL the promises written down to an Unconstitutional (s128) foreign governing body? Why is Tony Burke having trouble seeing what should be in the public record? What happens if the Liberal's kyoto protocol promise are broken? This smells like a publicity stunt throwing bones out appearing to be doing something after Peter Spencer's hunger strike attention.
