Perth Stop the Filters RallySaturday, 06 March 2010 Stop the Filter is organising this event to express our opposition to the introduction of a national mandatory internet filter. It will be held on Saturday, the 6th of March at 12 noon (venue tba), as part of a National Day of Action initiated by Block the Filter.org. Greens Senator Scott Ludlam is a confirmed speaker. Please join us to be informed and help inform others. If you would like to help organise this event, are part of a performing group who could do something internet censorship-related on the day, or be part of an ongoing campaign against the proposed filter..facebook users click here for more infomation and /or go to wearechangewa.com.

Stop the Filter Perth is happy to announce that the rally on Saturday 6th March 2010 will be held at Forrest Place 12noon.
As well as Senator Scott Ludlam, other speakers at the rally will be Dr Mark Kent, an IT Studies lecturer from Curtin University; Foad, an Iranian Activist; Ben Peterson from the Socialist Alliance and Mark Walmsley WA President of the Liberal Democratic Party;
