Dutch government falls over Afghan mission

(AFP) THE Dutch government has collapsed, the prime minister said, after members of the coalition government failed to agree on a NATO request to extend the Netherlands' military mission in Afghanistan. Our 1500+ Australian troops protecting poppy fields in Afghanistan have been under "allegiance, obedience..adherence" of the same foreign Dutch government - We're wondering whom they'll serve under next? Seems odd that our Australian troops can have an "allegiance, obedience, or adherence to a foreign power", but if PM Rudd or any other government members try that, they'll GET THE SACK! See section 44(i.) of the Australian Constitution. Bring our country men and women home, Mr Rudd!!
